I have always been fascinated by the line - especially in figure drawings. I still remember the assignment we were given by one of my art professors which was to "Express a tingling feeling by using only lines." It is true that a single simple line can be a very powerful tool. I often wonder how I can give a figure a real sense of life and individuality by focusing on lines rather than volumes...
